Tam Walker

Welcome to my page and thanks for stopping by! If you don't know me, I'm 21 year old Tamanda Walker, originally from Botswana. I've been in London for the last three years trying to make a life for myself as a singer/songwriter. It's early days yet but I hope to achieve big things - and I have very big dreams to keep me motivated. I completed a diploma in pop and jazz vocals at Vocaltech, West London a couple of years ago. That was my first experience of formal singing training and my first serious attempt at writing songs. Fortunately for me, I had a stroke of beginners luck with the songwriting and managed to generate the interest of Yak Bondy (Simon Fuller's 19 Management), who encouraged me to pursue what he saw as a raw talent. Since then my writing has gone from strength to strength and I have finally taken my music out of my bedroom and into the public eye. My first few gigs have been a solo affair... just myself and the keys... but I am pleased to say I have finally got my band together and booked some much needed gigs... so come check 'em out if you like what you hear!
