About Me

Christopher began playing the violin at age 8 in New Orleans under his teacher and violist, Lee Coker. At the age of 16, he won the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra's Young Artists Competition and performed the Bruch violin concerto with that orchestra. He also won several more local and state competitions and was a member of many regional orchestras, winning his first orchestra audition with the Huntsville Symphony of Alabama.Christopher switched to the Viola 3 years ago and his main teachers include Maggie Snyder, Eric Koontz and Hsiaopei Lee. He has also worked with Catherine Carroll, Roberto Diaz, Jeffrey Irvine, and the Emerson String Quartet. He attended the Brevard Music Center in 2005 and 2006 and was a Teaching Assistant for the viola section of the high school orchestra there both summers. Christopher is currently a member of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and teaches a private Violin and Viola Studio.

a must listen.. this is neat.

I found this sound file of jingle bells played backwards.. i had no clue what kinds of things were in such a fun, wholesome christmas song! have a listen. you might have to turn up your speakers a bit...
