About Me

Welcome! This is me, the Lady Roller.... Originally hailing from Perth, WA, I have been the vocalist and co-writer/producer with the EZ Rollers since 1994, writing 4 albums together: 'Dimensions of Sound', 'Weekend World', and 'Titles of the Unexpected' and the newly released 'CONDUCTOR'...... We've had numerous releases on Moving Shadow since the rollers vibes began including the top 20 smash 'Walk This Land' taken from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels....
The brand new EZ Rollers live set has taken to the road after the debut performance at Clockwork in Bristol on May 4th 2007 and set to tour through 2007 performing tracks from the CONDUCTOR album! First album tracks released 'Rancho Notorious/In The City' and 'Mousetrap/Fly Away available in shops and to download from www.intercomrecordings.com
You can also catch my DJ sets - a mix of nu jazz, soul, and beats for the dancefloor! Music is my true passion, jazz being my original and early inspirations which has led to a love and appreciation of all styles and vibes - anything with a groove basically....... I love to dance it's essential to my well being along with running/cycling and anything that requires fun and or energy! Mirror, signal, crash........
'Conductor'..... released June 25th 2007.....

CONDUCTOR REVIEWS
Mixmag - Drum and Bass record of the month
DOA - Album of the week
DMC update - 5/5 Conductor is the most forward thinking LP from the Rollers with some classic trademark vocal tracks along with energetic feel good vibe drum & bass, these guys have truely stood the test of time in Drum & Bass land from the early shadow days until now and judging by this lil' effort they will be around for a little while longer.
iDJ - 4/5 As you’d expect, there are a variety of styles covered on the LP, but everything’s held together with the Rollers unique blend of real instruments, uplifting vocals and good vibes, all with a tight undercurrent of funk and groove.
DJ mag - 4/5 A superb four track taster from the EZs forthcoming new album. Straight away you are grabbed by the goolies as the first piece ‘Go Go Electro’ opens. This is a tribute to the pioneers who developed this early eighties sound where a snappy beat kicks off and a raspy, old style vocoder growls such immortal names as Grandmaster Flash and Man Parrish. A bumpy, hard stepping bass formula follows. Talented, non de-rigeur liquid on the rest.
Knowledge - Playing to their strengths, they continue to fuse jazz elements with upfront vocals and bouncy basslines in a tried and tested formula, but it works like a dream. Featuring the massive 'Crowd Rocker' and a number of tracks built around their all-new live band, this uplifting album sees the Rollers continuing to go from strength to strength. Still rolling after all these years.
Atm - Something on here for everyone, E-Z Rollers best work of recent years.
