Stefano (Stef) Barone's music career starts in 1990, as a co-founder of a psychedelic band named Abraxas.
They were originally inspired by Pink Floyd's sound, quickly developing into psychedelic, progressive and post-new wave sound.

In 1991 Stef Barone founded Meta, continuing the same experimental journey of open-structure music.

Between 1993 and 1995 he performs with Zahara (the arabic name for the orange tree's flower, so distinctive of his motherland Sicily).
Zahara use several forms of art in their performances, from music to action painting and theatre, from visual projections to ballet.

In 1996 Stef Barone founded Cydonia, a space-rock experimental band with visual artists as a part of the band.
1996 - TV and Broadcast Sound Technician Diploma.
During 1998 Cydonia developes a project for EMI, merging their experimental sound to Trip Hop.
1998 - Pro-level Studio and Live Sound Engineer Diploma.

From 1999 Stef Barone perform as Psychotronic, electronic band with traditional flutes, painting, video art and psychedelic suggestions, new age influences.
Stef Barone started collaborating with Baby700 in 2003, as well as performing in London venues as Psychotronic.

He then co-produced the music for TV shows such as "Famous anf Frightened" and "Ghost Towns" series 1 and 2 (Living TV).

Stef Barone is actually involved with the Aura Noctis project, electronic, trip hop, darkwave and goth band.

In November 2006 Stefano Barone composed the original soundtrack for "Silence", a short movie directed by talented and awarded director Aldo Paternostro
