Music:

Way too much to list- check out my friends to see. I like to add old and new favorites cause I'm dorky like that.

Movies:

Independent, artsy, serious, funny, romantic, documentary, thriller (as in kinda scary), psychological thriller, drama, anything that makes you think and has a lovely twist in the ending....but no grotesque horror.

Television:

Don't watch it normally, but shows that I have been known to watch are: The Daily Show, Democracy Now, Six Feet Under, The L Word...I like shows that tell true news, focus on world/social issues, push the boundaries, make you think, and can do it all with a humorous twist.

Books:

Kite Runner by Khaled Hossein, The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, A peoples history of the United States by Howard Zinn, Cunt: A Declaration of Independence, by Inga Muscio,.... I'm normally reading a few books at any given time, plus a variety of magazines like The Nation, Mother Jones, and The Progressive.

Heroes:

My MOM, The Dalai Lama, Starhawk, John Lennon, Jerry Garcia, Lots of musicians and celebs that work for social causes, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, so many many others....I'm sure you get the picture.
