I relocated to Arcata California/Humboldt County/Northern Cali from Ann Arbor, Michigan over a year ago. Living here is like living in paradise. It's amazing! California really is the place to be.Lela (my birth name) must have music somewhere in it's meaning, but I also go by the name Amanda Lynn (on stage,) mostly because I play a mandolin. I'm a singer/songwriter and I play the mandolin, guitar, and flute. Now I like to call myself a "high maintenance" or "born again" hippie. My father plays in a really awesome Grateful Dead band in the Ann Arbor area. Their name is "Deep Space Six" also on my top friends list. They have been together for fifteen years now. I have been singing with them for almost ten years.
