Arcano Zero started out, in early 90s, as a sound experimental project, based on synthesizer landscapes and noise extravaganza. The purpose of founder member, Sabastian Val, was never to release his efforts to a wider public, other than some friends, and served mainly his selfish dubious enjoyment.
In later years, harlequin became the second member and besides bringing a more controlled and movie-like output sound, including percussions and concrete recordings, he also insisted in presenting the band to a larger crowd, since, he thought, it had a peculiar way of putting tunes together (the flaws of the end result is what he cherries the most). Early work of AZ was laid into his computerized hands and, between the almost-quite-agreeing-in-very-few-ideas two, conceptual albums took finally shape and a (un)structured direction.

Sometimes there floats past them a white, angular boulder, a
gulley, or an armful of hay fallen from a passing cart; or
a large, muddy puddle will gleam briefly, or, suddenly,
a shadow with vague outlines will come into view ahead
of them, growing smaller and darker as they approach, and
