So please, please don't send me an e-mail asking me “is there a space for us to play at your open mic night?†because I will be forced to send an e-mail back saying nasty things about you! Badger Music Well it's with a heavy heart I write this e-mail, basically this is the end of Badger Music's relationship with The Western Front. After 2 years running nights in this venue I am afraid I am quitting the Tuesday nights we run.Badger Music has been providing a platform for local talent to play and at the same time supplying the Brighton population with quality free music for over 3 years in Brighton and 2 years at the Western Front. I do hope to return in a new venue at some point in the future. For now I am going to give myself a well deserved month or two off before off I think about looking for another venue.I am sending this message out to musicians and punters alike. So if you are a musician and have been booked to play for us I can only apologise that we can no longer have you to along to play, as the night will have had its last farewell on the 20 th of February. I will keep in contact and I will keep you up to date if we find another venue.I would like to thank every musician that has played for us and all the people that came down to watch the nights. You all made the last two years extremely special for me and words can not express my gratitude. I would also like to thank Zel and the bar staff for their support and help throughout our time at The Western Front.
