My Interests

Sounds Like:

Stage: 14x10

Mains: (2) JBL JRX-125
Subs: (2) EV Force i 1x15
Supplemental (Rear-of-House): (2) Cerwin-Vega club speakers
Monitors: 2 mixes running through an old, crappy Yamaha and an old crappy Carvin wedge, driven by an old, crappy, and woefully underpowered QSC Amplifier.
Amps: Crown CE 2000, QSC ISA450, Peavey CS800X, Ashly FTX2001

Board: Allen & Heath Mixwizard 16:2
This is a very nice board, featuring 4-band EQ with 2 sweepable mids on each channel, 2 separately controlled channels of non-crap sounding digital effects, and some of the cleanest preamps you'll ever find on a board of this size/cost. Unfortunately, only 8 of the 16 channels work consistently.
Mics: Shure SM58, SM57, (2) AKG D9000 voc/instrument mics, Audio Technica Kick-Drum Mic (surprisingly OK), and 2 Direct Boxes of varied quality.

Rack: We've got a nice one!
Furman PL-8 Power Conditioner
Peavey XD 3/4 Crossover
(2) Peavey Q431F eq (Mains)
Peavey Q231F eq (Monitors)
Gemini EQx30 eq (ROH)
DOD SR866 Stereo Gate/Compressor
Numark CDN25+G CD Player/Karaoke Machine

Questions? Concerns (besides the amount of vintage Peavey gear - I know, I know)? Email me - [email protected]
