Destrophy is a well-established 4 piece pop/rock/metal machine based out
of central Iowa,USA
The band was officially launched in 2002 by producer
and singer/songwriter Ari. The story goes that Ari scoured the state and
recruited only the most talented, success-minded, musicians to help him
bring his brain child to fruition. The result is an impressive line-up
including Ari, guitar and vocals, Phil T. bass, Joe Fox on drums, and
Bruce Swink, former member of Roadrunner Records, Stone Sour and
DownTheSun, on guitar.
The band is currently playing select shows throughout the Midwest in
support of their new CD, “The Way of Your World.†The CD sold out of its
first pressing in just 8 weeks with ecstatic praise from fans and industry
insiders alike. In addition to the new CDs world class audio production
and impeccable musicianship, it’s undoubtedly the memorable song writing
and pop/rock vocal sensibilities that continue to build and sustain the
buzz surrounding Destrophy.
Destrophy has secured a solid foothold as one of the brightest contenders
in the modern independent music industry. The bands catchy signature
sound and dominating live shows continue to draw large crowds and
enthusiastic responses from their continually growing fan base, both here
in the US and overseas. Additionally, Destrophy has a long standing
reputation of notable accomplishments including heavy rotation on
multiple Midwest radio stations, dominating The Battle of the Rock Bands
on IA’s 93.X Rock FM and compiling a tight knit fan base built up by
networking and aggressive grass-roots marketing. All this and making
themselves accessible to fans is what the band takes so much pride and
sense of accomplishment in each time they take the stage.
As demand for the band’s recordings and live shows grew, Destrophy
teamed up with Damon Moreno of The Inner Light Agency to work as the
band’s marketing and development director. “The core principles of my
band management style is to keep all the wheels turning in the right
direction“ says Damon. “I honestly believe in Destrophy, I feel this is
bigger than any of us truly realize.â€
