Bordercross was founded by a few people who are interested in music, politics and culture in general, in order to fight problems which are caused by the capitalist world order. For instance fascism, racism, sexism or cultural decay, just to mention a few reasons. Our tools are principally forms of political activism and cultural activities like the BORDERCROSS concerts and festivals which can be organized by all members within the bordercross-collective. As you can see, the bordercross should be a platform for all people who are delighted about doing things on their own, together with other motivated people. The money we earn from activities like that, is given to political groups ( sometimes we have to use the money for self-preservation, in order to keep things going) which are fighting for the same principles or ideas we do as well. The year before we gave the money to the squat house EKH (Ernst Kirchweger Haus) in Vienna and this year to an anti-racist organisation named ZARA.
