CANCEL the Twilight Tour (19-22 March):
* 19 March - Asscobar, Bonn (DE).
* 20 March - Altes Backhaus, Bad Buchau (DE).
* 21 March - Gleis 13, Basel (CH).
* 22 March - Golden Krone, Darmstadt (DE).
They are very sorry for the announcement to come so close to the tour.
This sucks but they’ll come and fuck you up again in the
MOONSHINE TOUR in MAY...

HOLY RACKET:
Just to let you know Holy Racket split up on Friday 7th March (2008). I arrived home after 10 weeks in Asia to find a letter detailing all the things Steve was sick of (and it was a lot! ha,ha) so he decided he’d had enough.
I wanted to carry on but unfortunately,Kev and Mick didn;t think it could work without him so we had to call it a day!
I want to thank everyone who was ever involved in the Racket,from promoters,venue’s,magazines,radio stations,record shops,all bands we played with,all the friends we made over the years,everyone who gave us a bed,a meal,a drink(or two!)drove for us,roadied for us,did merch -basically,anyone who did anything!Last but not least,Punk-Rebel Records(Canada),and most of all,Dambuster Records(Austria)-aka Kobi the king! for the support,backing and NEARLY making us massive! ha,ha.THANKYOU!
I’m going to carry this site on for a while at least,so i can keep in touch with everyone,and maybe if anything comes up in the future,you’ll be the first to hear about it!
Cheers for now,and i’m sure i’ll bump into some of you in a bar somewhere! Till then,all the best,Zat.x

Really sad sad news ...
HOLY RACKET are history.
Steve has left the band, there will be no new record and all gigs for April are cancelled.
We still can’t believe it.

So let’s make it official and say hello to a new band on DAMBUSTER RECORDS ...
THE GOGETS
They are from Hollabrunn/Vienna and deliver an explosiv mixture of Punkrock, Hardcore, Rock and some SKA elements.
"Narcotic views of life" is a masterpiece for such a young band.
Played more then 100 gigs in their first 4 years including a 3 week tour through Asia with being their in the Rolling Stone magazine and interviewed for a public TV show. Hard working is the basis for success. Believe it.

What a geat gig that was in Pabneukirchen with L’INVASIONE and UNAVOIDABLE! So many people came and made a great party with this two amazing bands. Thanx to Fritz for organizing and Mauri and his wife and L’INVASIONE for being so nice people. Hope they come back soon!
UNAVOIDABLE will play three gigs in Italy in March and be on the INDIE BOX Compilation 3.

ABOUT:
The punkrock scene in austria has grown a lot in the last 15 years, but still a lot of countries dont even know that we exist. So I want to try to change that a little bit.
There are so many great bands, locations, booker, labels, mailorders and fanzines out there.
Im involved in the scene here in Linz for more than 10 years now. I played in several bands, organized gigs and made a small fanzine. At the time I play bass for Silvercity and work hard to start this label.
It will not be able for me to find a typical label sound because I like a lot of different styles from hardcore to 60s garage.
But anyway - for its important I like the sound and the people. It’s a we do it together thing - not labelboss vs. band. A release includes for a tour in the bands country as a minimum. Distribution will be worldwide. Borders are bullshit.
As a conclusion I can and want to support a band from the studio over promotion to gigging. Sometimes it will depend where you from, but we will see.
