Andriél was founded by ex-members of BLACK PAINTED REALITY and LAST DIARY in december 2007.
After Carsten left BPR, the four other guys were searching for a new guitar player and along came Dan. He left Germany and his former band Last Diary to live in Austria. So it happened that he and Hani ended up in the rehearsal room to play together. Soon it was clear that the chemistry was right and the other guys joined the sessions. And after they played together for a while they decided to abandon the old band to start a new one.
The music style of BPR changed a little bit more into rock, Matthias decided to stop singing and concentrate on shouting and Dan took over the mic with his clean voice. The rest is history and can be heard on stage in summer 2008.
