I'm still getting around to checking out your page before I accept you as one of my friends.
So...
Dear music likers and lovers,
The Lost Missouri Letters is a name that comes from a time in my life when I fell in love with a boy and he actually started to love me back. Then I embarked upon a christmas vacation journey to Missouri. While there, I wrote a series of the most passionate letters I'd ever written and saved them all in my journal, to give to him upon my return. Unfortunately, somewhere along the journey back home, the journal and the letters got lost, never to be seen again. Perhaps they were left on a plane to Oregon, or in an airport bookstore in Arizona. At any rate, the letters were lost, and really, all I have are my songs that sometimes express that same amount of passion -- little snippets of letters never sent, to people and events along my journey.

P.P.S. I've recorded a bunch of new songs and I think you'll like them, knowing you. If you'd like me to send you a copy, send me your address, and 5 buckaroos plus 4 more for shipping and handling! These are rare. Get them before I make a new album and am too embarressed to send you a copy of my "old stuff." ;)

Alternate story: Back in 1888, Missouri used to be spelled Missourrrriiiii. This band is a tribute to those lost letters.

P.P.P.S. TLML supports Barack Obama...
