I'm a musician; acoustic and electronic, traditional and experimental, free form and structured. Yes, this makes me a music geek. It also makes me pretty busy.
I'm also a sound engineer, theater technician (working particularly with sound), performance artist, and sound artist.
I like diy type stuff. I modify and repair my clothes, I garden organically for food, I support open source projects. I fix stuff myself and build things I need whenever I can.
I don't think in words. When thoughts go through my head, they're in the form of pure concepts, not nescessarily translated by sensory perception. Sometimes this makes communication difficult - everything I think must go through an extra step of translation before it will make sense to anyone else. Even though I'm very good with English, I can't always translate things that are beyond language (to me, anyway).
I used to be an ice dancer.
