An annual publication, RaiseUp features selected national and international contemporary artists working in all forms of media. Promoting the notion of the contemporary art scene as a closely-knit global community, RaiseUp merges both established artists and emerging talents in a sleek, limited edition publication.
Beginning with an open call via the Internet, RaiseUp allows artists from every part of the world the opportunity to engage in both the process of compiling the content and the liberty to decide what they would like to see in the finished magazine.
Finally, the launch of the publication is followed by a series of exhibitions and once again, the artists are encouraged to participate in the process by deciding what he or she would like to include in the RaiseUp exhibitions. Thus, it is through these creative means that RaiseUp involves each artist and offers an international forum in which to participate.
