CHOKE

BIO:Choke was born in Saint Petersburg (Russia) in 1984. In 1995 moved to live in Tel-Aviv (Israel) In 2003 Choke has started promoting the UrbanSubBass dnb events in TLV - Greenroom (the biggest club in Tel-Aviv at the moment) who hosted international artists from TrippleVision and local dnb dj’s. In 2004 Choke started spinning dnb in various clubs and bars around Tel-Aviv area and beyond, and after a while became the resident dj of a famous local dnb/techno crew DoublePresure, who’s being responsible for some of the most successful warehouse raves. Around that time, the BrokenToyzCrew has been formed by a group of local talents including producers and mc’s like: S.Solo, Garage, XLR8A, OxyTurbo, and others. BrokenToyzCrew has started some of the first 2step UK Garage events in Tel-Aviv, and organized many dnb club events and warehouse raves at various locations. S.Solo has moved to Russia after a while, and being responsible for organizing the first overseas BrokenToyz events in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, hosting big international artists including Adi-J (Bassground.NL) , D-Monica (B.A.S.S.NL) and many others. After some time this project has settled itself on hold. In 2005 Choke hooked up with the BlackListedCrew who motivated and helped him to start working on dnb production. Later this year Choke has started running his own dnb line at Vortex club in Tel-Aviv, and hosted many international artists including: Paul B (RU), Vicious Circle (UK), Wasp (BE), Kirdek (NL), and others. In 2007 Choke has moved to Mexico city, and participated in organizing the Therapy Sessions MX with Dylan and Robyn Chaos.
