C-Fremen

South African born Carl Albrecht aka C-Fremen have been actively involved
in shaping the Capetonian Drum n Bass scene between 1997 and 2000 alongside
500Mills and Animal Chin of Counterstrike with whom he collaborated on the track
"AI", featured on their first unofficial LP, "Biogenesis". In 2001 he moved to Germany’s
capital city, Berlin where he continued to develop his ever changing production style.
By 2006 Carl´s first collaborated release, "See Thru You" dropped on the Cymbalism
Recordings "A New Perspective" vinyl series. Hard work payed off when Barcode
Recordings signed "Red Dawn", another collaboration with Germany´s promising first
lady of dark dnb, Miss Redflower. Due for release later this year, this Current Value
mix/mastered tune is guaranteed to destroy dance floors world wide. Currently available
for digital download on a new Seattle based imprint, Onset Audio is a collaboration with
South African newcomer General Sound. "Confliction" is the first in a series of
collaborations that are bound to tear shit up..watch this space.
