What can I say about me ? Mmm... Nothing really special. I live in Lille (France) where I study History of Art. I am found of Contemporary Art (Pop Art, Art brut, le Nouveau Réalisme, Paul Klee, Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Picasso of course, Matisse, Sergio Ferro and many many more.) Maybe I am wrong to study it but when you discover the universe of Art, you can't go out. It opened my mind giving to me new visions, new worlds and new dreams.
Some people would say : she is 23, she is naive and she's still full of illusions. That's right ! So let me enjoy it before I wake up ...

About Art ... What's new in Lille ?
Let me introduce you the Center of Contemporary Sacred Art in Lille. I work in this place which owns a fabulous collection created thanks to Gilbert Delaine, one of the founders of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Dunkerque. In 1985, he decided to call different artists in order to create works of art on the theme : The Passion of the Christ.
Believers or not, known or unknown, these artists did not give their interpretation about religion but they gave a message about humanity. They painted, sculpted and photographed pain and cruaulty of the 20th century with, sometimes, a touch of hope.

Quoi de neuf en matière d'art à Lille ?
Laissez-moi vous présenter le Centre d'Art Sacré Contemporain de Lille où se cache un véritable trésor de la production artistique contemporaine. "Trésor" est le terme récurrent employé par les visiteurs qui ont déjà franchi les portes de ce lieu hors du commun qui accueille depuis décembre 2003 une collection d'oeuvres d'art entièrement consacrée au thème de la Passion du Christ
Accueillie aujourd'hui dans la crypte moderne de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de la Treille de Lille, cette collection fut rassemblée par un des plus importants collectionneurs de ces dernières décennies, Gilbert Delaine, fondateur du Musée d'Art Contemporain de Dunkerque (le LAAC). En 1985, touché par un grave problème de santé, il décide de créer une exposition entièrement consacrée au thème de la Passion en faisant appel au large réseau artistique qu'il avait constitué quelques années auparavant.
Croyants ou non, ces artistes ont pour la plupart utilisé ce thème afin de peindre, photographier et sculpter la souffrance et la cruauté de la société contemporaine, certains offrant malgré tout une touche d'espoir.
