Jonnie started to make country music and also blues in the early 50s. But when Poukie Poukie died, Jonnie could not overcome the death of his lovely horse and moved to France. He decided to wait the end of the Yéyé movement and finally became a caterer during a long time. One day, Willy Trocadero, producer of Lomme City Records discovered the songs of Jonnie and felt in love with it and his terrific lyrics.
