About Me

I am a musician with a degree in classical guitar from the College-Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio. After twenty one years in the music business (thirteen of them on Broadway), I got out of it to pursue my other passion: progressive politics. The result is In Focus Consulting Group, which advises progressive candidates for elected office, helping them reshape and reframe issues and policies, both foreign and domestic, in ways that the media and our currently elected officials have yet to consider.
My first time at bat was also my first victory. I served as campaign manager for first time judicial candidate, Chris Ann Kelley in Brookhaven Township's Sixth District Court (Suffolk Co., Long Island).
Not only did she win her primary race for the Working Families and Independence party lines (the only candidate on our eleven member ticket to do so), she became the first Democrat to sit on the bench in Brookhaven's Sixth District Court in over 30 years. To the best of anybody's recollection, she may very well be the first woman Democrat to hold that post as well.
