Sometimes I'm still a Wombat, sleeping and unwilling to come out of my burrow...

Some amazing, strong women have supported me on my life journey...especially up the steep hills with the windy paths: You know who you are gals...Thankx so much!!!...but I am open to meeting more people...especially right now as I reimage myself.
Way back at the beginning of 2006 there was a major change in life circumstances for me. I assumed the world had ended...but with the help of some unexpected connections (would you believe an Arabian Prince? A crusty Knnight?... A retired elite world champion paraplegic cab driver?...and ummmm...others...who have each influenced my attitude to what is possible)...I have to concede that maybe...someday...I will take a new risk and invite a special man into my life again...Someone with imagination, and power over words. Someone with really strong arms who can hold me tight. Someone who doesn't mind sharing the hard bits with me as well as the fun times. Someone real and honest, who enjoys dancing, and beaches and music and just being alive in their life. But that's for someday...
Right now, cool friends and sounding boards are helping me get through the tuff stuff and SMILE...

Much to my own surprise, I've recently been listening to Austrlian female country and blues singers, particularly the ones I've seen live in Darwin over festival season: Mia Dyson,Anne McCue and right at the moment, Beccy Cole.
India Arie, Corrinne Bailey Rae and quirky local Kate Miller-Heidke are also in the CD stack in the little blue Zoom Zoom.
When I am doing housework I crank up the PubRock, and Daddy Cool's Eagle Rock is my all time favourite of all But when it is late at night...I'm chillin' with the grown up music and I'll be listening to Luther Vandross or Keith Sweat...mmmmmnh!
