Mysterious and atmospheric, epic and even dramatic. Those are the words that come to mind when you try to describe the music of The Tritones. Call it neo-surf, call it film music, call it whatever you want, The Tritones will always create a quite unique soundscape made of pure emotion and wild imagination.
Sébastien Fevry (guitar) started his first band Los Venturas in 1998, inspired by his love for 60s instrumental guitar music. Five years, an EP and a cd later he wanted to explore new musical interests, so he decided to leave the band. In November 2004 he invited Michael Schots and Bart Van Goethem for a try-out. The Tritones were born.
Michael Schots (bass) started his musical career with the rockband Cow Over Moon. Later he was asked to join Los Venturas, where he met Sébastien. For the moment he still plays guitar with Los Venturas.
Bart Van Goethem (drums) is an eternal KISS fan, still follows Metallica and Iron Maiden, but also has lounge, jazz and funk in his CD collection. The Tritones is his first band. He now also plays drums with rock band The Votes.
