Hilarious and informative, the adventures of Penelope in this unique story will fascinate and intrigue all readers. A story of teen romance combined with a factual telling of an endangered species that most don't know about, TURTLE FEET, SURFER’S BEAT is much more than just a beach read. Teens Read Too
"We must all learn about how our actions effect the environment we love, live and play in. Every little bit helps. As surfer's we must protect our oceans as best as we can. Turtle Feet, Surfer's Beat is an excellent read about traveling, the adventure's of surfing waves, unexpected romance and learning how to protect marine life such as the Leatherback Turtle." Mary Osborne, MTV's Surf Girl and Champion Longboard Surfer

I really liked the flow of this book and they way the author develops each character. The “teen speak” was dead on and easy to follow. Not only is the book a fun read, but also highly educational. Environmental awareness issues are addressed in a matter-of-fact way and inspirational way. The plot is full of adventure, romance and a few surprises along the way. Two thumbs up!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Today our Ecological Footprint is over 25% larger than what the planet can regenerate. In other words, it now takes more than one year and four months for the Earth to regenerate what we use in a single year. We are liquidating our planet's ecological resources. This is a such an underestimated threat and one that is not adequately addressed.
