Hello, I'm Codex, one third of CODEX MACHINE, with Dellamorte & Speednik - see my friends below.
I busy myself with finding 3 million different synth sounds every day, and by using Acid a lot.*
I live in Codex Mansions, in North London, well-placed to give my neighbours the pleasure of hearing the same synthesiser lines played over and over all afternoon.

Here’s what the press have had to say so far about Annie Nightingale Presents Y4K:
''Faultless selection...the queen of breaks retains her crown' DJMag
'A living legend' iDJ Magazine
'If contemporary breaks are your bag, bag this immediately' M8 Magazine
This was our first tune to be played out on the radio, on the Annie Nightingale show. It got into Annie's top ten tunes of 2005. It contains bits of Mozart's "Requiem Aeternum", along with many, many other samples, including the band Love.
ASTEROID B-612:
Yes, look at the stars.....made in a fit of grimey breakbeat madness....
SANTA VS BARBARA:
A remix of the instrumental bits from Datblygu's "Santa a Barbara". Datblygu were one of the best bands ever to come from Wales, lyrically genius (in Welsh). This is a remix of one of my favourite songs of theirs. Sadly, they disbanded in 1995, but you can still get their music on CD.
URBAN 90
This tune was influenced by Arabic music scales. And sitting on the bus to work every day looking at the moulded back of the seat in front of me (hence Urban 90 - if you travel on London buses you'll know what I mean). All of the bass and synth parts are played using an Indigo Virus II keyboard. It's a builder, so hang on in there....
