About Me

Having gotten into the rave scene in the mid nineties, I started to get into Jungle/Drum & Bass in '97, and soon felt the call of the turntables. I started learning to mix in '98, moving swiftly to playing regularly in London venues such as the Drome (now SE1) and Trendz, with my friends and local promoters, Currupt Inc. After co-founding south London crew, Urban Warfare, with eight or so like minded souls, we soon assembled a 15k sound system and started to play at weekly parties all around central London, and outdoor parties in the outskirts of London and in Kent. We also took the sound system to many festivals including Glastonbury, Total Eclipse and Londons annual cannabis festival. After a venture into pirate radio, both playing on various established London based stations (including RUUD Awakenings) and running the short lived 'Urban FM', the crew went their own ways at the end of 2002, after 4 years together. From mid-2002, I started to play a weekly 2hr slot on internet dance music specialists 'WorldWide FM', alongside multi-genre shows from some great UK DJs, and some of the old Urban Warfare DJs - Sweetleaf, OB1, Massa and Zero Cool. until the station went into liquidation at the end of 2004. I've since put on and DJ-ed at a few nights in London, under the name 'Pull Yourself Together', playing alongside DJ's spinning hardcore, hip-hop, salsa, soul and breaks, and at the end of 2005 I relocated from London to Brighton, where I'm hoping to carry on with promoting my nights in London, whilst starting up a new night for the south coast massive - Watch This (my)Space................................................
