About Vikki Lee and Her "Killer" Band

Sticky Vikki and the Pinecones is one outstanding "live" band.
They are truly something special, a wonder, a phenomenon, maybe even an actual force of nature!
And make no mistake my friends, all of these wonderful musicians did not just simply, as they say, "fall off the pine tree."
Rather....Sticky Vikki has individally hand-picked each and every one of them....fresh.......inspected, and selected not only for their instrumental prowess........but also for their congenial attitude and contagious sense of humor.
Yes....Sticky Vikki and the Pinecones are truly superb musicians.......but they will...never....ever...let their musical proficiency get in the way of having a rollicking good time!! Their original and witty approach to rockabilly and country-rock music will always transcend trendiness.
So make yourself very happy......gather up all of your family and friends and catch a Sticky Vikki gig as soon as you can!
If a Pinecone falls in the forest.........will anybody be listening?
You betcha......EVERYBODY WILL !!
Vikki Lee has appeared with her band at most of the major hotels, casinos and resorts in Nevada alongside acts as diverse as Elvin Bishop, Al Stewart, Mickey Gilley, B.J. Thomas, The Guess Who, The Marshall Tucker Band and The New Riders of the Purple Sage. She has also performed in England and Germany. Additionally...she holds an artists endorsement from Dean Markley for her prowess on the slide guitar. Sticky Vikki Lee ROCKS!
The Pinecone line-up includes part-time railroad engineer, full time top-notch guitarist, Bob Woods, who honed his rockabilly chops with Tokpela, a western swing band that produced 3 members who went on to play with Asleep At the Wheel. After performing with Asleep At the Wheel, Commander Cody and David Bromberg, Bob played with former members of the Texas Playboys including Tiny Moore. He also played for two years with the legendary surf band The Surfaris.
Legendary luminary Michael Jarrett comes to the Pinecones through session work at the L.A. studio where Vikki recorded with Albert Lee. He is world reknowned for his songwriting, having penned hits for Elvis Presley among others.
And of course, we can not forget part-time Pinecone and guitar legend extraoardinare......the great Albert Lee! &nbspAlbert has recorded and shared the concert stage with countless musical stars, from EmmyLou Harris, Jackson Browne, The Everly Brothers, and The Crickets, to Bill Wyman and Eric Clapton...and he was on stage at London's Royal Albert Hall with Slowhand, Paul McCartney, Ringo and all the rest of George Harrison's musical friends for the famous "Concert For George."
As we said.....
Sticky Vikki and the Pinecones is one KILLER band!
.....and they blow the doors out and the roof off of any room when they PLAY LIVE!
