Pulse of the Planet

Listen To Your Planet

About Me

World Music Radio Show in Southern Spain."Pulse of the Planet" is a one hour pre-recorded world music show that airs twice a week. The show delivers a sound portrait of our world with the purpose of promoting unity while respecting diversity. We dedicate one minute during each show to present "Positive Planet"...a 60 second piece of positive news from around the planet. The hour is divided into 3 segments. The first segment is dedicated to "Roots" music, meaning, the more traditional music indigenous to different cultures. The second segment is Pick of the Week. This segment is for the artist or album we are featuring. We select 4 or 5 tracks, talk about the artist and direct our listeners to the artist's web page. We also mention Pulse of the Planet's myspace page as most of the artists who are featured come from our myspace friends. The artists who are featured that week will be included in our top 10 friends. The last segment is Global Fusion...party time. We use this segment to promote the various world music events happening in the area.Pulse of the Planet...Spinning the Worldhttp://www.sonicbids.com/pulseoftheplanet
