Parents are supposed to be given the chance to get their children back home. Well, we were one of those families. We fought for 7 years against Lutheran Child and Family Services. They made us go through individual, marital, family counseling, 3 hour bus rides to and from visits, (even while I was pregnant with my first son), I got an apt, I got my drivers license, I did it all. FOR NOTHING! It turns out they WRONGFULLY out my girls in a PREADOPTIVE HOME. And so, instead of fighting the state, I fought against the foster parents. I tried for soo long, but after having 2 more sons, I faced the hardest decision in the world. Do I KEEP FIGHTING AND RISK ALL OF THEM OR LET GO OF THE 2 BEAUTIFUL GIRLS, WHO HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME PLACE FOR 7 YEARS?Well, I thought about this story of two mothers in the bible. The king was going to cut the boy in half since they couldn't stop fighting over him. And the "BIRTHMOTHER" THE "TRUE MOTHER" said NO, take him. I would rather lose him then let him suffer and die. So. I chose to be the TRUE MOTHER. I let them go with the PROMISE FROM THE FOSTER PARENTS that the BOYS WOULD STILL SEE THEIR SISTERS. "they LIED" They even mailed back a THANKSGIVING CARD WITH A NASTY NOTE TO MY SIX YEAR OLD SON.These are the people that the rest of the world views as SAINTS. They love children so much, that they TAKE THEM AND forget about their siblings. THEY SAY THEY LOVE CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY CAN'T HAVE ANY OF THEIR OWN.But, they don't care about THE EMOTIONAL DAMAGE THEY DO TO A SIBLING BROTHER. My son asked SANTA not for presents but to give him a VISIT with his sisters for Christmas. Well, of course that didn't happen. So, you decide, what you think is right.
