I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm an armchair anthropologist currently enrolled in a two-year shamanic studies apprenticeship with some healers i've been working with for years... i enjoy hunting for treasure, spend several weeks a year in the Peruvian Amazon, have been attending BurningMan Festival since 2002 and enjoy being a Ranger both there and at various regionals around the place... i like to spend my spare time (however little there is of it these days) drawing, painting or creating things - for example a Medicine Wheel which i am currently making in the back yard. I really like being out in Nature and travelling to new places, and look forward to the day i can add Europe to the rotation. I'm currently six months into a two-year shamanic studies apprenticeship.I live a Charmed Life(tm). I have a wonderful girlfriend, a beautiful little girl, live in a fabulous house in a super city and have the best cats in the entire World. They are mutants, even. Even my Honda Civic Molly is true-blue. Literally. So far, so good... let it be known that i take none of these things for granted, either.i thrive on adventure, and love driving. I wanna' see and experience as much as possible, and am on a constant quest to add to my resume of Life. I dig good music. and old friends. and new ones. and Nature.Loving, living, learning. yay!

Movies:

Once you have seen The American Astronaut, all other movies seem kinda' lame... so dont ever watch this movie. At least until you've seen Sordid Lives, Dead Alive, Amelie, Donnie Darko, the ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy without all the ghey add-on crap, Rear Window, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Roman Holiday, the Ring trilogy, the Sword in the Stone, the Little Mermaid, the Great Muppet Caper, Brazil, Pi, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? (the original), The City of Lost Children, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Monte Python's Search For the Holy Grail, Time Bandits, Snatch, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Momento, I'm Gonna' Git You Sucka! and the NEW Dawn of the Dead. And Shawn of the Dead, too. And if yer twisted then watch Meet the Feebles.

Television:

Lessee... i am hopelessly addicted to watching Forensic Files and other such true-crime reenactment programs, and if you haven't seen a show called Moral Orel you really should. it is the BEST show EVAR. seriously! And Dora the Explorer. My two-year old and i watch this program daily, if not twice daily. And it is sooo fabulous. That g0rl has one helluva' magic backpack, let me tell ya. and if you need classics, the A-Team, Good Times, Gilligan's Island, and the first maybe six or seven seasons of Simpsons is good stuff.

Books:

The Bible, of course. Unless you've taken LSD, in which case i might skip it because in all honesty it is rather long and does get repetitive at times. But Dr. Seuss books are always winners, and Where the Wild Things Are is a nice one, too. And Ishmael, Zodiac, Helter Skelter, Running With Scissors, The Life of Pi, the Narnia Chronicles, Food of the Gods, Boy's Life, Jitterbug Perfume, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dracula and of course Ceto's New Friends. and Everybody Poops.

Heroes:

DC heroes all suck. Marvel heroes are pretty cool, especially Nightcrawler. Human heroes are even cooler, particularly my Mom, Audrey Hepburn and Mohandas Gandhi. In no particular order, but i am very proud of each of them for their achievements.
