I'd like to meet:
I've met a few celebs and while it's a pleasant experience, it's never as exciting as the anticipation beforehand. I wouldn't mind spending a day or two with Bono, take a "trip inside his head to hear the things he hasn't said and to see what he might see" (from Miracle Drug).
The person I most would like to "meet" again is my father, who passed away 17 years ago. Have a chance to get to know him as an individual and as a friend, not just as a father.

Television:
Watching TV is an excuse to pursue my real passion -- knitting! I can't do one without the other, the exception being LOST which is the most captivating TV show ever made. I do like the psychology and game strategy involved in some reality shows, such as Survivor, Big Brother and Rock Star. I like a few sitcoms, like How I Met Your Mother. And I try to tune into NCIS in order to get a glimpse of my favorite actor from childhood, David McCallum. PBS has some good programming. Otherwise, we can get over 500 stations with a satellite dish and I am still hardpressed to find something that holds my attention.
Books:
I'm an avid reader and enjoy all genres, especially fiction, biographies, historical novels, mysteries, true-life crime, bestsellers, and educational books on self-improvement, psychology, and religion. I've read countless books about China and/or written by Chinese authors. The one book which has made the biggest impact on my life is The Holy Bible.
