Happily married over 10 years now - which to date is the longest I've ever agreed to do anything that isn't for the most part involuntary ... like breathing. Our union has produced one fine, high-functioning autistic, hyperlexic son. We are owned by a dog and a cat who begrudgingly share their modest home with us.
I've named myself after one of my favorite films. "Koyaanisqatsi" is the first of Godfrey Reggio's Qatsi Trilogy. For more information on these films visit the Qatsi Trilogy myspace page and/or www.qatsi.org
I also chose the name Koyaanisqatsi because I believe its Hopi definition describes life on earth today:
ko.yaa.nis.katsi (from the Hopi language), n. 1. crazy life. 2. life in turmoil. 3. life disintegrating. 4. life out of balance. 5. a state of life that calls for another way of living.
Some Hopi Prophecies:
