Are we going to let this be swept under the rug?
Between 1885 and 1908 one of the few documented Holocausts in the world took place in the Democratic Republic of Congo.Under King Leopold II, over 10 million people were murdered in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition to thesemurders, many more were torture and amputated including women and children.
King Leopold II was a Belgian king whose greed led him to this strategic African soil.
After King Leopold II died, the country was taken over by the Belgian state which continued it cruelty and exploitation of theland. Unlike the German government, Belgian government and the United States government are yet to admit to their crimes (TheHolocausts) in which the Belgian committed against the Congolese and the United States committed against, first, theNative-American, and second the Africans whose most of their offspring are now African-American and "Black-American," if youwill.
In these two countries, the perpetrators of these crimes are hail as heroes or have been given heroic figure statuses. Can youimagine the outrage if the Germans hail Hitler as their hero?

As we see the hour goes by, there is another Holocaust taking place at this hour and in this day. We can stop this now. In theoccupied, the Palestinian people have been living under a brutal military occupation for over half of a century. Children are beingkilled while they are still in their bed. One of the reasons this crime have gone unnoticed for so long is that the perpetrators havebeing able to suppress the mainstream media reporting the facts or news favorable to the perpetrators. When we tell the worldabout it there will be demands, and demands will lead to actions. You have the power to stop this. Do not let the Palestinianchildren down. Tell the world about Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians.
This powerful video will make you think twice as the violence in the occupied territory continues. Why does the world sit andsee this kind of human sufferings? This video answers the question.

George Galloway on the Israeli-Lebanese conflict
This is according to wikipedia: George Galloway is perhaps best known for his vigorous campaign tooverturn economic sanctions against Iraq, and for his visits to Saddam Hussein 1994 and 2002. In October 2003, he was expelledfrom the Labour Party when a party body ruled that he had brought the party into disrepute over the 2003 invasion of Iraq, whenhe called the Labour government "Tony Blair's lie machine" , and stated that British soldiers should "refuse to obey illegal orders"
In January 2004, he teamed up with the Socialist Workers Party, leading members of anti-war movements such as Salma Yaqoob,and other figures on the British left such as film-maker Ken Loach and journalist George Monbiot (who later left), to formRESPECT The Unity Coalition (Respect), a new political party to the left of Labour.
He won his seat in the 2005 general election, standing for his new party.
You have been challenged to take action to stop the murderous act of Israel in theoccupied territory and against her neighbors. Israel is trying very hard to hide her crimes. This is one reason that they target theLebanese TV station that was operated by civilians. This same behavior was carried out by the U. S. at the beginning war. The U.S.military targeted the Iraqi state TV station operated by civilian at least for 24 hours before finally bringing it down. So how is theU. S. involved? You judge for yourself. This is the least help the U. S. has given and is yet to give to the only white government inthe Middle-East.
Remember South Africa under apartheid, The South African government was the only nuclear power on the African continent atthe time. Israel, in the same way, is the only nuclear power in the Middle-East. Is there any connection here? Under apartheid, thegovernment was a white government.
Three die in northern Gaza raid
Relatives grieve for one of eight Palestinians killed in Beit Hanoun [1 Nov]
Eight Palestinians were killed in clashes on Wednesday
Three Palestinians have been killed in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza on the second day of a major Israeli operation, hospital officials say.
Eight Palestinians - including five militants - and an Israeli soldier died during clashes on Wednesday.
In Thursday's violence, a 70-year-old Palestinian civilian died, hospital officials said. The identities of two others reported dead were not clear.
The raid is one of Israel's biggest operations in Gaza in recent months.
On Wednesday, troops carried out three air strikes and troops, backed by tanks and helicopter gunships, moved to encircle the town of Beit Hanoun.
An Israeli military spokesman said the operation was aimed at stopping rocket fire into Israel.
But on Thursday militant fire continued, with two rockets fired into Israel, the army said. No injuries were reported.
As the operation continued into its second day, helicopter gunships fired missiles onto the town, tanks patrolled the streets, snipers took up rooftop positions and troops conducted house-to-house searches, the Associated Press reported.
'Massacre'
Palestinian leaders have strongly condemned the Israeli raid.
Both the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and the prime minister, Ismail Haniya, have described the Israeli military action as a massacre.
Israeli soldiers cover the body of a dead solider, killed during an operation in northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun.
An Israeli soldier was killed during the Beit Hanoun raid
The Israeli army confirmed the death of one of its soldiers some hours after Palestinian militant groups issued statements saying they had killed an Israeli.
Israeli forces have made regular incursions into Gaza since late June, following the capture of an Israeli soldier on 25 June in a cross-border raid by Palestinian militants.
Since the capture of Cpl Gilad Shalit, more than 300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli army operations in Gaza and the West Bank, according to Israeli human rights group B'Tselem. BBC.COM

A major new article says U.S. support for the invasion of Lebanon has gone even further than we already know. That in fact, WhiteHouse support for the massive bombing of Lebanon even predates the day those two Israeli soldiers were seized.
In this week's issue of the New Yorker, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh reports Israeli officials visited the White Houseearlier this summer to get a "green light" for an attack on Lebanon. The Bush administration approved, Hersh says, in part toremove Hezbollah as a deterrent to a potential US bombing of Iran. A government consultant said the Bush administration alsosaw the attack on Lebanon as a "demo" for what it could expect to face in Iran. www.democracynow.org
As of last night, 29 people had been killed in the most concentrated 48 hours of violence since an Israeli soldier wasabducted by Palestinian militants just more than a month ago.
In Gaza, Palestinian land has already been bulldozed to form a 300-metre open area along the border with Israel proper. Andin both cases, the crisis will doubtless end up being defused by a prisoner exchange. With Lebanon dominating the headlines,Israel has "rearranged the occupation" in Gaza, in the words of the Palestinian academic and MP, Hanan Ashrawi. But unlike theLebanese, the desperate Gazans have nowhere to flee from their humanitarian crisis.
Before Israeli tanks moved into northern Gaza, yesterday, 12-year-old Anas Zumlut joined the ranks of dead Palestinians,numbering more than 100. His body was wrapped in a funeral shroud, just like those of the two sisters, a three-year-old and aneight-month-old baby, who were killed three days ago in the same area of Jablaya.

“On the question of racialdiscrimination, the Addis Ababa Conference taught, to those who will learn, this further lesson:
That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally andpermanently discredited and abandoned:
That until there are no longer first-class and second class citizens of any nation;
That until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes;
That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race;
That until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but afleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained;
And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique and in South Africa insubhuman bondage have been toppled and destroyed;
Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understanding and tolerance andgood-will;
Until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, equal in the eyes of all men, as they are in the eyes of Heaven;
Until that day, the African continent will not know peace. We Africans will fight, if necessary and we know that we shall win,as we are confident in the victory of good over evil.â€

Africa for the Africans
Say! Africa for the Africans,
Like America for the Americans:
This the rallying cry for a nation,
Be it in peace or revolution.
Blacks are men, no longer cringing fools;
They demand a place, not like weak tools;
But among the world of nations great
They demand a free self-governing state.
Hurrah! Hurrah! Great Africa wakes;
She is calling her sons, and none forsakes,
But to colors of the nation runs,
Even though assailed by enemy guns.
Cry it loud, and shout it Ion' hurrah!
Time has changed, so hail! New Africa!
We are now awakened, rights to see:
We shall fight for dearest liberty.
Mighty kingdoms have been truly reared
On the bones of blackmen, facts declared;
History tells this awful, pungent truth,
Africa awakes to her rights forsooth.
Europe cries to Europeans, ho!
Asiatics claim Asia, so
Australia for Australians,
And Africa for the Africans.
Blackmen's hands have joined now together,
They will fight and brave all death's weather,
Motherland to save, and make her free,
Spreading joy for all to live and see.
None shall turn us back, in freedom's name,
We go marching like to men of fame
Who have given laws and codes to kings,
Sending evil flying on crippled wings.
Blackmen shall in groups reassemble,
Rich and poor and the great and humble:
Justice shall be their rallying cry,
When millions of soldiers pass us by.
Look for that day, coming, surely soon,
When the sons of Ham will show no coon
Could the mighty deeds of valor do
Which shall bring giants for peace to sue
Hurrah! Hurrah! Better times are near;
Let us front the conflict and prepare;
Greet the world as soldiers, bravely true:
"Sunder not," Africa shouts to you.
White and Black
The white man held the blacks as slaves,
And bled their souls in living death;
Bishops and priests, and kings themselves,
Preached that the law was right and just;
And so the people worked and died,
And crumbled into material dust.
Good God! The scheme is just the same
Today, between the black and white
Races of men, who gallop after fame.
Can'st Thou not change this bloody thing,
And make white people see the truth
That over blacks must be their king,
Not white, but of their somber hue,
To rule a nation of themselves?
Man to Man
Yes, man to man is so unjust
Until we know not whom to trust;
For we have made of life a lie,
In treating man less than fly:
To tell the reason why it's so,
Into history we must go,
Revealing crime, just after crime,
From Cain and Abel to this time.
Our God made man in perfect form,
And to the standard to conform;
But in his ways of self alone
He crushed the good and built a throne:
A regal personage is he,
As proud and selfish as can be;
Forgetting God he robs and kills,
And lays the course of human ills.
Is there no help that we can give
To brighten life in truth to live?
Yes, there is much for you to do
In treating man as Christ did you:
If we should change the old bad way,
The good would shine in us each day,
Then life would be a happy dream,
A radiant, fair morning beam.
Go And Win
Ye Negroes of the world, another day has come,
To test your worth of racial character;
Your lives and homes, you see, are threatened everywhere;
The time is now for you to do and then to dare.
Your youth must struggle with the facts as they are seen,
And blaze the trail for home and life redeemed:
Your hope, I claim, is in the courage of the time,
So go ye forth and win the battle that's sublime.
Kwame Nkruma
“For centuries, Europeans dominated the African continent. The white man arrogated to himself the right torule and to be obeyed by the non-white; his mission, he claimed, was to ‘civilize’ Africa. Under this cloak, the Europeans robbedthe continent of vast riches and inflicted unimaginable suffering on the African people.â€
“It is clear that we must find an African solution to our problems, and that this can only be found inAfrican unity. Divided we are weak; united, Africa could become one of the greatest forces for good in the world.â€
“Although most Africans are poor, our continent is potentially extremely rich. Our mineral resources, which are being exploitedwith foreign capital only to enrich foreign investors, range from gold and diamonds to uranium and petroleum. Our forestscontain some of the finest woods to be grown anywhere. Our cash crops include cocoa, coffee, rubber, tobacco and cotton. As forpower, which is an important factor in any economic development, Africa contains over 40% of the potential water power of theworld, as compared with about 10% in Europe and 13% in North America. Yet so far, less than 1% has been developed. This is oneof the reasons why we have in Africa the paradox of poverty in the midst of plenty, and scarcity in the midst of abundance.â€
“Never before have a people had within their grasp so great an opportunity for developing a continent endowed with so muchwealth. Individually, the independent states of Africa, some of them potentially rich, others poor, can do little for their people.Together, by mutual help, they can achieve much. But the economic development of the continent must be planned and pursuedas a whole. A loose confederation designed only for economic co-operation would not provide the necessary unity of purpose.Only a strong political union can bring about full and effective development of our natural resources for the benefit of ourpeople.â€
“The political situation in Africa today is heartening and at the same time disturbing. It is heartening tosee so many new flags hoisted in place of the old; it is disturbing to see so many countries of varying sizes and at different levelsof development, weak and, in some cases, almost helpless. If this terrible state of fragmentation is allowed to continue it may wellbe disastrous for us all.â€
“Can we seriously believe that the colonial powers meant these countries to be independent, viablestates? The example of South America, which has as much wealth, if not more than North America, and yet remains weak anddependent on outside interests, is one which every African would do well to study.â€
“Critics of African unity often refer to the wide differences in culture, language and ideas in various parts of Africa. This is true,but the essential fact remains that we are all Africans, and have a common interest in the independenceof Africa. The difficulties presented by questions of language, culture and different political systems are not insuperable.If the need for political union is agreed by us all, then the will to create it is born; and where there’s a will there’s a way.â€
“The greatest contribution that Africa can make to the peace of the world is to avoid all the dangers inherent in disunity, bycreating a political union which will also by its success, stand as an example to a divided world. AUnion of African states will project more effectively the African personality. It will command respect from a world that has regardonly for size and influence. The scant attention paid to African opposition to the French atomic tests in the Sahara, andthe ignominious spectacle of the U.N. in the Congo quibbling about constitutional niceties while the Republic was tottering intoanarchy, are evidence of the callous disregard of African Independence by the Great Powers.â€
“We have to prove that greatness is not to be measured in stockpiles of atom bombs. I believe stronglyand sincerely that with the deep-rooted wisdom and dignity, the innate respect for human lives, the intense humanity that is ourheritage, the African race, united under one federal government, will emerge not as just another world bloc to flaunt its wealthand strength, but as a Great Power whose greatness is indestructible because it is built not on fear, envy and suspicion, nor won atthe expense of others, but founded on hope, trust, friendship and directed to the good of all mankind.â€
“The emergence of such a mighty stabilizing force in this strife-worn world should be regarded not as the shadowy dream of avisionary, but as a practical proposition, which the peoples of Africa can, and should, translate into reality. There is a tide in theaffairs of every people when the moment strikes for political action. Such was the moment in the history of the United States ofAmerica when the Founding Fathers saw beyond the petty wranglings of the separate states and created a Union. This is our chance. We must act now. Tomorrow may be too late and the opportunity will have passed, andwith it the hope of free Africa’s survival.â€
Martin Luther King
"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defensethan on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death."
"War is not the answer. Communism will never be defeated by the use of atomic bombs or nuclear weapons. Let us not join those who shout war and, through their misguided passions, urge the United States torelinquish its participation in the United Nations."
"We can no longer afford to worship the god of hate or bow before the altar of retaliation. The oceans of history are madeturbulent by the ever-rising tides of hate. History is cluttered with the wreckage of nations and individuals that pursued thisself-defeating path of hate."
“If we assume that life is worth living, that man has a right to survive, then we must find an alternative. In a day when guidedballistic missiles carve highways of death through the stratosphere, no nation can claim victory in war. A so-called limited warwill leave little more than a calamitous legacy of human suffering, political turmoil and political disillusionment. A world war,God forbid, would leave only smoldering ashes as a mute testimony to the human race whose folly led to ultimate death. Ifmodern man continues to flirt unhesitatingly with war, he will transform his earthly habitat into an inferno even the mind ofDante could not imagine.â€
“Israel's right to exist as a state in security is incontestable. At the same time the great powers have theobligation to recognize that the Arab world is in a state of imposed poverty and backwardness that must threaten peace andharmony. Until a concerted and democratic program of assistance is affected, tensions cannot be relieved. So there is aneed for a Marshall Plan for the Middle East.â€
“At the heart of the problem are oil interests. As the American Jewish Congress has stated, ‘Americanpolicies in the Middle East have been motivated in no small measure by the desire to protect the $2.5 billion stake which U.S. oilcompanies have invested in the area.’ Some Arab feudal rulers are no less concerned for oil wealth and neglect the plight of theirown peoples.â€
“In 1967, when I took my stand against the war in Vietnam, I recounted that I had lived in the ghettos of Chicago and Cleveland,and I knew the hurt, the cynicism and the discontent. As I walked among the desperate, rejected and angry young men, I toldthem Molotov cocktails and rifles would not solve their problems. I tried to offer my deepestcompassion while maintaining my conviction that social change comes most meaningfully through nonviolent action.â€
â€But they asked, and rightly so, ‘What about Vietnam?’ They asked if our own nation wasn't using massive doses of violence tosolve its problems, to bring about the changes it wanted. I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of theoppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today: my owngovernment.â€Made with the MyTheme myspace editor
