CATS IN NEED

♥Helping Cats find a Forever Home.♥

About Me

We are a non-profit, NO-kill animal rescue. We get our cats from a variety of sources. Owner turn-ins, animals that are abandoned and/or neglected and we also rescue from local area shelters usually just before they are euthanised.
Our cats are tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, de-flea'd, current on their vaccinations and micro-chipped. Most of our cats live in foster homes when these are available so that we can tell you all you need to know about their personalities.
We do adoptions at PetSmart in Chino, CA.

Located at 11945 Central Ave., Chino, Ca. 91710.

We are there on Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 4PM. You can contact us by phone @ (909) 613-5844 ask for Jean.
People who wish to adopt a cat or kitten from our rescue go through an extensive adoption process which involves the completion of an application, interview with an adoption manager and counseling on the health and care of your new pet. If you have been approved you will then pay an $85.00 donation which is 100% tax deductible. This process is done to ensure that the animals will be well cared for in a permanent, loving and responsible home. This all takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please come by and take a look, you may find your next family member with us.

My Interests

My name is Julius. The nice people from Cats in Need took me in after I had been hit by a car and my owner couldn't pay for my medical bills. I was a wreck. Throughout my recovery process I remained a very sweet and loving boy even after having to stay in a small cage so my pelvic bone could heal. I also had very bad infections in both eyes. I have since made a full recovery. However, I was diagnosed with asthma. I have serious attacks about every six weeks. I know it will be hard to find me a home since I will continue to need these medications throughout my life, but I still have hope of one day having my very own family again. I love to love and be loved. As you can imagine my medical costs were quite high if you could help any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and can be sent to:

These are some of the cats we have available for adoption. They would love to have a forever home with you.

Please if you have any questions on any of our cats send me a message and I'll be happy to tell all about any of these precious sweeties.

CAT OF THE MONTH

My name is Tiffany. I was raised by a human mother who fed me with a bottle. I often forget I am a cat, as I see my humans as my family. I am very playful since I am only 5 months old. I get along well with other cats and dogs once I get to know them. I love to cuddle with my family and enjoy being carried like a baby. I also enjoy a good brushing and being a long haired kitty I need it often. Please won't you consider me for your newest family addition.?.

Heroes:

Pet overpopulation is a BIG PROBLEM. Please be a responsible pet owner and Spay/Neuter your pets. We can recommend a low-cost spay and neuter clinic to you. For those located in the Chino area we'd like to refer you to:

    Payne Ranch Vet Clinic
    13890 Peyton Dr.
    Chino Hills, CA 91709
    (909) 465-0044
Please be sure to tell them CATS IN NEED sent you and you'll receive $35 for spay(females) and $25 for neuter(males). Altering your pets makes them and you much happier. And early spay and neuter helps to lower risk of some cancers in your pet :)
