When Carina first started to explore the world of music & dj’ing, it was just because of pure curiosity, and her interest for music. It didn’t take long though before she started to master the true art of mixing, and from there on, she couldn’t stop playing even if she wanted to!At age 19, she got the residency at Club Femme Fatale, and by that time, she also had many guest-gigs in clubs like Era and Mood Nightclub, undoubtedly one of the sexiest nightclubs in Bergen. Mood is hosting the monthly Hed Kandi parties and also the world tour of Pacha club.Carina is rumored to be a highly skilled technical Dj, and with her ability to adapt to the different crowds and venues, she will always make the dance floors go wild wherever she plays. This was proven when she was encouraged to enter MTV Selected, Scandinavia’s largest Dj competition. Hosted by MTV and Nokia, and with jury members like Axwell, Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Ozgur Can and Dj Statik, Carina really made an impression by finishing second in Scandinavia! She was also the ONLY female to make it into the competition at all.Carina has played in numerous clubs and venues in Norway and Europe. She has had 2 summers residency in Hersonissos, one of the biggest party destinations in Europe. She has hosted the famous beach parties in Starbeach, the number one beach bar. And with her gigs in Athens you can say that Greece has been one of her hot-spots the last years. Summer 07 she played at Norway’s Quart Festival, she was featured in at 2 hour radio show in France, broadcasted by Pure Electro Radio and Triangle FM in Paris, which also included interviews and playing live in studio. She has a monthly residency at www.danceradio.gr , one of the biggest underground dance radios in Greece and Europe, and her mixes will soon also be featured at www.purelectroradio.com. All of this, and at the same time she continues her residencies at Club Femme Fatale, Rick’s Disco & Lounge and Mojo Club in Bergen/Norway.Carina’s sets vary within the genres of deep-tech house, funky house and electro.
