AL MUNZO

Al Munzo's love for music developed at a very early age. He began taking piano, trumpet and singing lessons when he was a young boy. As a teenager, he discovered his taste for dance electronic music listening to artists such as Crystal Waters, Culture Beat, Real McCoy, Snap and many others.His DJ career started after having visited "the white island" of Ibiza for the very first time in 2002. Being able to watch DJ's not only fill the people's minds, bodies and souls with music, but also indulging themselves in it is what impacted and inspired him.Al Munzo began spinning at local bars and house parties around town. Shortly thereafter his DJ skills were recognized when he became the resident DJ at Vanilla, one of the best clubs on the American/Mexican border. Al Munzo has shared the stage with Cedric Gervais, Dean Coleman, Miss Nine, Oscar G and Tomcraft to name a few. Al Munzo's mixes have been featured on danceradio.grIn the summer of 2008 Al Munzo was invited to be the resident DJ at famous club Kandi, a place well known for their international cast of DJ's and unforgettable parties at Ios, one of the Greek party islands. Al Munzo's funky, sexy, uplifting, and pumping house music kept the crowds going until dawn everyday.....At this point Al Munzo lives in Houston where he has started to be part of the local scene, he was invited to be a guest dj on Armin Van Buuren's last Houston's show. ..
