Juno Records is a dance music store. Based in London (UK), we started out in 1996 as an information site, with a plan to list every dance music 12" as soon as it was released. By 1997 we had grown into a mail-order service. Here is a picture of us in 1998 ... too busy packing orders to employ a web designer :)
By 2007 we have become the world's largest dance music store, now also selling hip-hop, reggae, rock and more besides. We even have our own dance MP3 site Juno Download . But we try to retain good principles - we don't push people into buying things they don't want, don't send out junk mail, and (especially) still stock every release that comes our way, even the tiny ones that no-one buys!
We love music, but don't expect you to know or care about our personal taste. So we sell both dance anthems and obscure experimental music , chart hits and tiny independent releases , and this week's electro-house MP3s next to 40-year old jazz LPs . We don't care too much about categories, and we hope that you don't either!
