About Me


Over a decade and 200+ releases later, the label has featured everything from abstract downtempo to main room electronica, from UK garage to deep spiritual house, from ethic world style to pumped up nu-perscussion. To this day "i Records" continues to define new genres of music, always delving deep into the soul and a rising above all industry adversity whilst staying focused on its original musical mission, "innovation".



As the first release for 2008, I Records & Kevin Yost deliver the 3rd issue in the “The Jazz Influence” series. This highly successful concept has become a calling card for Yost and has featured some of the label’s most sophisticated music in the past years. The tracking listing here features the long awaited Guy Monk single “More of You” and new Yost material including “Jazz Is” & “Intervention of One”. In addition new artists have been enlisted to give this release a distinctly more experimental vibe than the previous two.
