Kevin Yost presents Small Town Underground

In 1998, Kevin Yost decided to create a series of compilations that highlighted the deep & sophisticated jazzy house music, he was not only creating in the studio but playing via his worldwide DJ tours. The result was a CD selection he appropriately titled "Small Town Underground". With the release of STU Part 1 in 1999 on MCA/Twisted Records, the stage was set to spread "house" music further into the mainstream than ever before. The fans who had come to know Yost's "One Starry Night" as a the calling card for the talented producer from Waynesboro, PA, eagerly embraced this CD and forced the music world to take notice. Part 2 followed in 2002, again to an eager audience, further helping cement Yost's foundation as a worldclass Producer/DJ. In late 2004 STU Part 3 was released, and a host of new Yost fans stirred up his most overwelhming sucess to date. Now 2006, i Records in conjunction with Kevin Yost are now proud to annouce Part 4 of the Small Town Series will be released in the early Fall of this year.
