Hi there, my name is Helen and I am 34 years old. I live in Beverwijk it's a town nearby Amsterdam. I am Indonesian Dutch.
I have many hobbies and like to be creative. One of my biggest interest is music. I collect records and cd's. I like to sing and I sing in a 70's and 80's rock cover band. I also cooperate with the Milfhunters a unique musical collaboration between Dr Heaten Scum from the Mentors and Paul van Rijswijk (Hammerhawk, Flying Embryo's and the Inflated etc)Manuel and many others. I also record with friends at home, for fun.
I really like to photograph: bands, flowers, people and scenery. I photographed many local bands and cooperated in making the artwork for cd covers. I like to help bands, I like to bring them as many gigs as possible.
I like to write: I like to e-mail, write poetry and lyrics and I am trying to write a book about my hard childhood, my mistakes, my relationships and all parties I joined and still join and extreme things I do.
I like to cook: they say I am a great cook. I like to cook of course Indonesian/Dutch or Asiafusion or Italian. I make the best dishes out of leftovers and like to create new recepies and taste. I never throw food away I make a new dish out of it or give it away to people who are hungry. Everybody is always invited at my place to eat, party or talk about problems and I have a big dining table who is vacant a lot of times. (friends say if we hang a camera in your dining room it’s Gonne be the most vieuwed show ever).
I like to be creative, make mozaiek out of old clothing to make for a example frames. I like to customise clothing. I like to knit and everybody I know wears my home made scarves. I also make jewellery myself or create new ones when I am bored of old ones. I like to collect clothing and shoes and scarves and when I don't like them anymore I give away to people who can use it or trade or sell on eBay. Most things I wear are second hand you can find the best deals that way .
A lot of times I am behind the computer to type lyrics, being busy with photo’s or film etc. It’s a enduring hobby.
My latest new hobby is filming. I film every party and make funny movies and make video clips to support our recordings.

I like to party. My house is a party house in the weekend or during the weeks there is always action. All my friends are 80% male and 90% all musicians. We come together to jam or record or go out to parties and concerts. I am a party lover and I like to have fun. I think you life only once and have to live to the max and when I can, I do. Sometimes it's hard because I am also a thinker and a home philosopher so sometimes I reflect to much instead off react, and sometimes it's the opposite. Sometimes people think I am shy but I am sensitive for vibe and have problems with trust. When I trust you and the vibe is good you can enjoy my big mouth, funny statements and creativity. I like to make dirty jokes but I don't life the live I preach. I have a bachelor degree for social and cultural work. At the moment I work at a childcare, located within a primary school. I work in the day-care and at the school. My biggest wish is to make money with my hobby’s witch I am trying to do by working on my own café-press shop witch will be opened soon! Or have my own trift store where I sell all my home made or customised stuff.
What can I tell more? Besides of the fact I have had many setbacks in live I always look on the bright side. I am a positive thinker. I used to be a big idealist who wanted to change the world. When I was young I joined every world saving group. Volunteered where I could. I even meditate with the green party in the Noord Oost polder for peace. I was a member of a anti-fascist group but quit. I came to a point when I realized it's all about ying and yang witch I believe in. Extreme right is bad but extreme left to. But I like to help people. I share my last money and when I can help I do. People come to me for help and I help. I listen and I try to do my effort to create a better world. I act like a tuff girl out of self-defence but I am a soft egg, that’s how they call it in Holland and I don’t mind. Once I knitted scarves for all girls in a big orphanage in Russia, I like to do that kind of stuff while I am listening to good music. Helping people and being busy with your hobby is great combination. I also have a strong intuition. Don't be shocked if I suddenly tell you something I feel and nobody knows, sometimes I predict dates!
I am not a easy person to live with. I can act like a hermit one day and be a party girl the other. I am dual and I like it. I look different everyday and just wear what I like. Don’t ask me when I’ll be back home but I certainly will if you let me do what I want to do. I like to go everywhere and travel and meet new people and scenery. I need a lot of action and change. I can be very impulsive and the combination of also being distracted a lot of times sometimes gives me trouble. I think theworld is a big magic ball to be discovered bij me, and I like to discover everything. I love flowers especially orchids. I can enjoy the beauty of nature but are definitely a city girl. I like old places because I think most beauty can be found in decay. I like to make digital portraits from that kind of scenery and like to go to old factories, harbours and abandoned places. Don't bring me candle light but harbours, don't bring me jewelry but a box full of old records.
