Chastity

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace).........Chastity was a true “band of brothers”. The band was made up of friends from Fort Worth, Texas who developed their own sound and took the party to the masses and became a fan favorite on the Southwest club circuit. Founding members, Omar (guitar), Alex (guitar) had known each other for several years in their hometown of Everman, Texas. They joined forces with James (drums) and began looking for a bass player and vocalist. In 1987 Gerry (bass) answered an ad in the paper and was selected as the newest member of the band. Several vocalists were auditioned but none were what they were looking for. It was at a party where Omar met Scott (vocals) through a mutual friend. After an audition with Scott in the fall of 1987, the original Chastity line up was set...........In the Spring of 1988 Chastity was approached by Tyree Productions to put together a ten song album. Released in the summer of 1989, the album was met with rave reviews while the band toured the Midwestern and Southwestern United States. By the time of the self-titled Chastity release, the band had become a club favorite in Fort Worth. Chastity continued playing live in the Dallas Fort /Worth area as well as the Midwest and Southwest through the summer of 1990. Their last show was Labor Day weekend in El Paso, Texas........A Message to Our Fans and Friends............ We made lots of fans and, more importantly, friends throughout the late 1980’s. We would like to thank all of you from Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, El Paso, Kansas City, and all those places we never refused to play in between, who came out to support us during those special years.
