This 'Space' is a tribute to SISTER MIDNIGHT and the Glam Rock scene.
It has been designed to feature new exciting bands and to give the more obscure Rock and Rollers from the past a little recognition they deserve.
SISTER MIDNIGHT was a flamboyant 5 piece band who rocked in the late 80s, back in the day when stars still pushed the boundaries with their look, style and attitude. Aspiring Rock stars in the true meaning of the word; their attributes, reputation and sound putting them on par with any of their Glam Rock contemporaries. The home grown British answer to iconic bands such as Pretty Boy Floyd, Vain and Skid Row.
SISTER MIDNIGHT were an anodyne for those who wanted to be part of something more than the commercialised music machine. Unfettered; masters of their own music, sound and image. A band that fused guitars with synths, they created something more than just music, they created an experience. Those who were fortunate enough to see them live, playing in legendary venues such as The Marquee, Electric Ballroom and Camden Palace, witnessed their incredible energy, stage presence and music, their main crowd pleaser being 'Rocket Love' from their limited edition 'Satellite City' EP.
SISTER MIDNIGHT also featured on the compilation CD 'Risk In A Nightmare World' alongside Rich Rags, Montserrat and The Children.
