Live like your life depends on it.

About Me

I have recently retired from a life filled with approval-seeking, codependency, the need to please, the need to be needed, second guessing, playing small, fears and doubts. It's been tough letting all these wonderful things go, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Apparently, my life depends upon it.

This is part of my past, and is presently in my future:

Myspace Editor
Pimp MySpace

My Interests

Food, guitars, girls...not necessarily in that order.

I'd like to meet:

The girl of my dreams (listen to Cat Stevens' "Hard Headed Woman" for a clue) -- I've had enough of the nightmare type (listen to Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me"). Seriously, though, I love meeting new people and re-connecting with long lost friends.

Music:

Movies:

Anything by Kubrick...anything good regardless of genre. Usually watch classics - Hollywood has been quite disappointing in recent years. Favs: 2001, Dr. Strangelove, Casablanca, Star Wars (the one and only original), Spinal Tap, Wings (1927), Making Angels (in development), Apocalypse Now (Redux), Hudsucker Proxy, etc...

I made this one (1997 Student Academy Award)
Walk This Way

Television:

Hopefully I'll get one soon - I want to watch the Indy 500 this weekend!...meanwhile I got this to look at (I mean the real one in the sky):
CURRENT MOON lunar phases

Books:

Have books, read books, got booked, had the book thrown at me - but I never burned one.

Heroes:

All who dare to be themselves - without fear, reservation or hesitation.
