Howdie, I'm Julian a 20 year old sound engineer from Sheffield, but i live in London. I'm currently mixing front of house for; Soweto Kinch, Jazz Jamiaca, Abram Wilson, Denys Baptiste, Andrew McCormack and Palladium........Which is ace, because they're all great bands. In the past i've worked, mixing house or monitors for: Dennis Rollins, Hugh Masakela, Emma Bunton, Artic Monkies, Wheatus, London Community Gospel Choir, Airto Morreria, Tim Garland, Raymand + Co, Ko, Ce Ce Winnans and a fair few others..........Which is also Ace! Venues wise, i've done everything from 100 seater theatres to 20,000 people in a field, glasgow community centre to glastonbury. I get a massive rush and great enjoyment from mixing really good music. I've been very fortunate so far to work with such talented artists. I'm currently studying Jazz at Trinity College of music in London and am always in persuit of the perfect mix!I currently endorse Audix microphones......check them out!

Movies:

Are a great way of passing time. And some of the best have been, The Italian Job, Lord of the Rings, Die Hard, Back to the Future, Robin Hood, Rambo, Rocky, Godfather (not 2), Carlito's Way, Saving Private Ryan, Shaving Ryan's Privates (ha!).

Television:

Is for the lazy. And i am very Lazy. I find that everything apart from Neigbours, The Mighty Boosh & Deal or No Deal is a bit of a let down. Oh, apart from the re-runs of Gladiators on Challenge TV.

Books:

The only book i have ever read is the Autobiography of Quincy Jones. However, apart from the bible i think it is the only book anyone needs to read!

Luckily, sound engineers know their way around many complicated consoles.

Heroes:

Jesus (Kinda takes the biscuit!) he died for us. Quincy Jones, Rudy Van Gelder, my parents, Rob Greenwood, Charlotte Celwyn, Emma Hiddleston, Bananna man. Here's the people i'm currently touring with:

My Blog
