Death By Sexy is a raw rock'n'roll trio based out of Washington, DC. Formed from the ashes of DC rock stalwarts The Shakedowns, DXS has been slaying audiences with their brand of relentless, righteous rock music since early 2005. Death By Sexy is what would happen if the white stripes, new york dolls, kiss, t. rex, the misfits, green day, the ramones, motorhead, queens of the stone age, and nirvana all jumped in a blender, was poured in your sister's underwear drawer and melted everything in it. After releasing their 2nd EP, ..Big Hit.., landing bigger shows, opening for the likes of The Bravery, Nic Armstrong and the IV Thieves, Washington Social Club, Adam West, and The Apes, as well as getting airplay on DC101 in DC, and various college stations and webcasts across the region, they seem poised for bigger things. Or at least garnering enough good will to get a free 12 pack of Pabst at their shows. God bless 'em, and god bless rock'n'roll.
