About Me

Click here to buy my book, "Gross Movie Reviews Volume One"!or go to one of these links:Volume Two Red Cover http://www.lulu.com/content/738100Volume Two Alternate (black) Cover http://www.lulu.com/content/751465Volume One http://www.lulu.com/content/265208I love horror movies. I constantly watch them feeling some day I might be able to watch every single one, which is impossible but don't kill the dream! Horror movies have always been a part of my life! I was hooked watching horror movies since the age of three if you can believe that? But I watched a movie called " Twisted Brain" and that is what hooked me! Yeah I watch other stuff but I gotta have my horror movie fix! I love reviewing them and watching them, the only two things better than that is being apart of them or meeting the people who have acted, directed, or written them!!! Otherwise I'm just an average guy who more than likely has watched way too many horror movies with a number after them. If possible I would love to do a radio show or a public access show about horror movies, b-movies, indepedent horror films, crap people love hearing about! It is a goal of mine... Anything public about horror movies I'm there. My friends claim I excel at speaking publicly about horror films or (just talk way too much about horror) as it was evident at Genghis Con and 2005's Pittsburgh Filmmaker Awards and this past 2007 Pittsburgh Zombie Fest. I'm not a English professor or even a great film critic, just an average guy with an average person's view on things in horror movies. Which is usually something different from 90 % of the bullshit you see on TV or in magazines to begin with! I have written three books and have had them published by www.lulu.com . Whether people will care or not about the books won't matter to me because it is one more thing I have gotten to do with my average life that invovles horror films. I loved putting the books together because it was something I always wanted to do ever since I first heard Joe Bob Briggs's voice! The hard lesson is the book isn't as accepted as much as I would like but hey it is selling here and there(like Canada, UK, Germany, and even Austraila) but with local bookstore chains not willing to take the chance that just gives me fuel to write more. I have been apart various film projects such as :The Ressurection Game, Wrr-girl, Severe Injuries, DR. Horror's Erotic House of Idoits, Fifth City, High Stakes, The Feast of Flesh, Die and Let Live, I, the Killer, and Basic Slaughter. Horror movies are my life, they are in my blood. Want to see or hear more of me you can find me at www.bastardsofhorror.com or www.bloodtypeonline.com or in the review section of Ultra Violent magazine! Thanks to people that have helped me along: Mike Watt, Amy Lynn Best, David and Diana Silvo, Tom Savini, Charlie Fleming, Roger Beckett, Jason M, Ed and Russ of www.bloodtypeonline.com, CK and Uncle Bill of www.deadpit.com, Josh and Jason, Art E. of Ultra Violent Magazine, Debbie Rochon, and Joe Bob Briggs. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM 's MySpace Profile Editor !

My Interests

Horror movies, whatever Joe Bob Briggs is writing or has to say, listening to Dead Pit (www.deadpit.com) and talking horror with CK and UB, talking to people and hearing their views of being behind the camera and in front while filming horror movies, filmmakers of low budget horror movies, and people who are passionate about their films, wrestling, and having discussions with the average person about horror films. Writing is also a big interest of mine whether its good or not is for another discussion. Giving my opinion on shitty ass films (someone has too)! But I love working on horror films... Lower the budget the more fun it seems! Just to be apart of a horror film production is a rush, its a dream that came true at the early stages of Mike Watt's The Ressurection Game when I got to play a zombie being shot in the head and fall through a door. Since then I think Mike hasn't been the same, lol, since he let me live my dream of being a zombie in a horror film.

I'd like to meet:

Men and women who like horror movies. Porn stars, but thats for another discussion. But I would love to meet Robert Kurtzman,Howard Berger, Rob Zombie, Rutger Hauer, Sam Raimi,Lance Henriksen, Kristy Swanson, Kate Beckensale, Tracey Griffth (star of The First Power), Wes Craven, Steve Johnson, Gilbert F'N Gottfried, and Ric Flair (wooooooooooooooooo!)and Rob Van Dam!

Music:

Metal, late 80's and early 90's thrash and speed metal. Gimme Megadeth, DRI, early Danzig, Anthrax, D.R.I., etc. Even the cheesy 80s music love it!

Movies:

Anything with zombies, gore, monsters, ghouls, vampires, chainsaws, deranged killers, demons, witches, power tools, werewolves, mummies, warlocks, ghosts, need I say more... naked women don't hurt either! If its a horror film 99 % of the time I want to see it. Hey I have my limits, (TCM remake). Any movie with Kate Beckensale or Kristy Swanson especially if they are naked! A few movies I watch because they are guilty pleasures and make people just feel dirty when I talk about them! : Highway to Hell, Bad Taste, Nightmare City, The Burning, Basket Case 1,2, & 3, Puppet Master movies, Subspecies Movies, Dollman, Trancers 1-5, Return to Horror High, The Toxic Avenger 1-4, Class of Nuke'em High, Halloween 1- 5, Waxwork 1 & 2, The Wraith, Toolbox Murders (remake), Slaugtherhouse, Slumber Party Massacre 1,2, & 3, Sorrority Babes Slime Bowl-O-Rama, Popcorn, Dario Argento's Phantom of the Opera, Neon Maniacs, Nailgun Massacre, JAck Frost, TCM 3: Leatherface, Crash and Burn, Bloodsucking Pharoahs in Pittsburgh, Beastmaster, Chopping Mall, Toxic Shock Zombies, Cutting Class, Uncle Sam, Q, The Stuff, Critters, Die and Let Live, Cut, The Crazies, Creepzoids, Sorrority Babes in the Slime-Bowl-O-Rama, Holy Shit... Zombies, Night of the Hell Hamsters, The Boneyard, Dead Shit, Col. Motherfucker, Uncle Sam, American Nightmare, Nightmare, Body Count, Evil Ed, Funnyman,Remember most of these movies make people cringe, puke, or just scream at me because they exist!!! This list could go on for pages and pages but you get the drift?Keep horror alive people!

Television:

Any horror movie that is on. Try to watch House, Smallville, Supernatural, X-Files repeats and watch the channel Chiller on Direct TV!

Books:

Books about horror movies or whatever Joe Bob Briggs writes. Horror comic books also... Almost all horror magazines (Fangoria, Rue Morgue, Horrorhound, Horrorshow, Toxic Horror, Gorezone, Ultra Violent)

Heroes:

Its not so much heroes but people I have looked up to since I was a teenager so call what you will? Joe Bob Briggs, Bruce Campbell, Tom Savini, Greg Nicotero, Reggie Bannister, Debbie Rochon, Chilly Billy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Michael Berryman, Andre Gower, Terry Lofton!
