Grew up in and around Portage, Pennsylvania. Graduated from there in 1985.I earned my degree in Communication Studies from California University of Pennsylvania in 1990. Before that, and at a very young age, I worked in radio. I continued to study and train in that field in college. Upon graduation, I temporarily got sick of radio and worked in a variety of gigs until I landed a job writing for The Patriot, Community News South and other papers in Pittsburgh.I sell real estate and write professionally. My "day job" consists of me helping people from a fancy desk. Also, every so often when the schedule dictates, I serve as Ring Announcer for the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance at the home of professional wrestling in Pittsburgh, the Lawrenceville Moose! We are simply the most fan-and-kid friendly and creative indy in Pittsburgh.
