THE STORY OF A TRIPPLE THREAT
Melissa Diane Benners, 22 years old, born and raised in Detroit Michigan, life became interesting at the age of nine when she enrolled in dance school. Who knew it would take her as far as it did and who would imagine that it would still be taking her places 12 yrs later. She has been trained in Ballet, Point Technique, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, African Dance, Dunham Technique, and Hip Hop. She is now currently involved in a dance company called A.S.I.I.D.

She attended the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts to continue studying the Arts. There she discovered her second talent, ACTING. She became a member of the Forensics team (acting team) and took on "Storytelling". Storytelling is when you take one of your classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, put your on twist to it, and act out the characters to tell the story. She is grateful for that experience in high school because it is now starting to open doors in her life toward a promising acting career.
ACTING ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

2002 Second place in state acting Tournament, Forensics Team
After she graduated high school in June of 2003 she toured as a dancer throughout the United States. In July 2004 she attended Spec Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Her concentration was radio. From her experiences touring with recording artist and watching them, combined with me being behind the mic at school, she was developing a third talent. This talent was SINGING. When she realized that she wanted to sing seriously she immediately started vocal training with a lady by the name of LaTisha Body and form that point on history was in the making and still is! She is now currently working on her first album.
