About Me

For twenty years, Lydia has studied ballet(pointe), modern, tap, and African Dance at Detroit Dance Center under the guidance of Carol Morisseau. She excelled to a level to where she taught classes at the Institution and that began her teaching career. In September 2007, Lydia started her fourth year of teaching dance for the Detroit Public School system. Currently, she is a dance major at Wayne State University in Detroit. From January, 2004 to May, 2006, Lydia attended Wayne County Community College where she earned an Associates of Arts Degree. During that time, she was selected to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina in South America where she studied various forms of Latin dance. Upon high school graduation, Lydia attended Central Michigan University from September 2002 to December 2003 where she studied ballet.Lydia is employed with LIVE ~ The Music Group as a choreographer for recording artist, Charm. Summer 2006, she was hired as the choreographer for the international recording artist, Simz and choreographed a video shoot for recording artists IDENTICAL in July 2007.Lydia began her modeling career at the age of 16 modeling in pageants. In 2001, Lydia was a contestant in the Miss Cheerleader of America Pageant. Less than a year later, she was crowned Homecoming Queen at her high school and, therefore, was chosen to participate in the America's Homecoming Queen Pageant. Lydia was named "Miss Belle Isle" when she competed in the Miss Michigan USA pageant, which was held in Port Huron, Michigan in 2002. Since then, Lydia has been seen in various fashion shows and talent shows.Through these and her future professional experiences, her thirst for knowledge grows even stronger.
