Well hello to all those who have stopped by to check out my little profile. I come from the small town of Totnes in devon and its not your typical small town! Lets see if I can describe it to all of you who have not been there. First of all it is located on the River Dart and has a great deal of history associated with it. Infact the street plan and layout of the town reflects the earlier Saxon and Norman town. I suppose the the only way to describe Totnes is 'alternative', the town seems to be a focal point for hippies and artists. This is mainly due to the art college at Dartington. Most days you can walk up the high street and you are acompanied by the sound of music as many people play on the streets. On the down side the town has far to many tramps, chavs and members of the blue rinse brigade for its own good! Also the only thing to do in the town is visit the pub and there are lots in the town so its not all that bad!I live in my own flat in the centre of town and love to spend time sat in my window with a beer and watch the free entertainment going on outside. The afore mentioned chavs are an endless source of amusement, dont we all wish we could be that cool - not! I like to think that I am my own person and dont follow the crowd blindly and this is something that is reflected in my music movie and book tastes. I have had many different and varied jobs from supermarket butcher, field archaeologist and currently I am working in a local dairy but am always on the look out for something else. I am looking into going back to college and getting my teaching certificate, but dont let that put you off Im a nice guy honest!
